Priority Populations: Individuals Who Use Intravenous Substances
At The Village South, we understand that individuals who use intravenous (IV) substances face heightened risks related to overdose, infection, stigma, and barriers to care. As part of our mission to uplift the human spirit, we prioritize services that meet the needs of this community with dignity and respect.
Our programs include:
- Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for opioid use disorders
- HIV and Hepatitis testing, education, and linkage to care
- Harm‑reduction strategies that promote safety and reduce health risks
- Individual and family counseling
- Care coordination and peer support
- Crisis stabilization services
We are committed to providing a safe, welcoming environment where individuals can access the support they need without judgment.
